Back to the things you’d stopped planning for.
Custom and off-the-shelf orthotics across Hamilton and the Waikato — assessed, fitted and reviewed by an NZOPA-accredited orthotist who chooses the device that suits your need.
Conditions we treat
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, working through post-operative rehabilitation, or getting back to work, we can help. Choose an area to see what we treat and the devices we use.
Why continuity matters
Orthotic treatment fails most often in the gaps — between assessment and casting, between fitting and review. We are built to remove those gaps.
Nothing lost in a handover
The person who assesses you is the person who measures or casts you, fits your brace, and reviews it afterwards — adjusting it until it’s comfortable enough that you’ll actually wear it. Nothing gets lost in a handover.
Costs explained before we start
We explain the costs, the funding pathway and the expected timeframe before any device is made. A written quote is available on request.
Digital scanning and 3D design
Scan-based capture where it suits you, plaster casting where it works better. The device decides, not the machine.
What happens, and when
A custom device usually takes three appointments across two to four weeks. Off-the-shelf bracing is often same-day.

Assessment
History, gait and joint assessment, and a clear discussion of the options — including doing nothing.

Casting or scanning
Plaster cast or 3D scan of the limb or torso. Often done in the same visit as your assessment.

Fabrication
Your device is made to the cast and checked against your assessment before it comes near you.

Fitting and review
Fit, adjust, and a wear-in plan. A review is booked before you leave, not left to you to chase.
Some of our work
Devices made and fitted by us. Every one is set up for the person who wears it.

Working alongside your team
Orthotic treatment works best when it sits inside a wider plan. Where required, we write back to the referrer after assessment and again after fitting, so your GP, physiotherapist, surgeon or case manager knows exactly what was provided and why.
We take referrals from general practice, physiotherapy, podiatry, orthopaedics, general surgery, rheumatology, paediatrics, midwifery, stoma and continence nursing, rehabilitation services and ACC case managers, and we will call you back the same working day if something is urgent.
We also see prosthetic patients privately, outside the ACC contract, for assessment, socket fitting and adjustments. Alongside the orthoses and bracing above, we provide pregnancy pelvic support belts for pelvic girdle pain and symphysis pubis dysfunction, postnatal and post-surgical abdominal binders, ostomy support belts, parastomal hernia support, and hernia trusses for symptom management while patients wait for surgery.
