Who pays for this?
The most common reason people put off orthotic treatment is not knowing what it will cost or who funds it. Here is how it works.
ACC
If your orthotic need comes from an injury, ACC funds your treatment and there is no cost to you. We confirm your cover before anything is made.
Private
You can come to us privately, with no referral and no waiting list. We explain the costs before anything is made, and a written quote is available on request.
Private health insurance
We invoice you and give you an itemised receipt to claim against your policy. What is covered depends on the plan you hold, so check with your insurer before your appointment.
Prosthetics
Prosthetic appointments are private only, as prosthetics sits outside our ACC contract.
